I Fought the Law by The Clash was originally done by Crickets in the year 1965 but become popular only after the release of Clash’s version but became still made more popular by Bobby Fuller Four. The punk version of Clash fit the tune of the song musically than the original rockabilly style. One of the significant cover songs in the history is Walk This Way by Run DMC.
